(A) Infrared Spectroscopy.
(B) Dissolve 0.1 g in 10 ml of water, add 3 ml of potassium cupri-tartrate solution', the solution is blue and clear. Heat to boiling; a copious red precipitate is formed.
(C) Water determination: Not more than 1.0%.
3 Solubility It is very soluble in boiling water; freely soluble in water; soluble in boiling alcohol; slightly soluble in alcohol.
